Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party service that supplies that result path. Upper Providence Township Residents Directory does not retain a separate copy of those searches. When a visitor sends a message, the information in that message is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services may record normal technical logs, including an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Aggregate review helps maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or related tools can support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
The limited information supports operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. Visitor lists are not sold, and the reference does not create individual user profiles.
Outside Links and Services
Links lead to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search providers. A visitor’s submission on an outside service is controlled by that provider’s privacy terms, including the sponsored-result service.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
Safeguards and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection, and technical logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. Because accounts are not offered, the site does not maintain a visitor password or profile.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Information Choices
Depending on where a visitor lives, there may be rights to access, correct, or delete personal data a website keeps. Research for this project did not identify a statewide comprehensive Pennsylvania consumer-data-privacy statute as of August 31, 2026. Since this reference retains little information, a request normally concerns the contact mailbox or technical logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Government records controlled by Pennsylvania, Montgomery County, or Township custodians are outside this site’s control and must be addressed to the holding office.
